In 2009 a producer named Alex Goose submitted beats to a well known artist for his album. None of the beats were chosen, leading him to release the instrumentals online as a free download. Many unsigned artist went on to attack these instrumentals, including up and coming Hip Hop artist Trills.
Breaking The Fourth Wall is Trills’ interpretation of contemporary nostalgia. Both fly, and gritty, he creates a musical ride that will take the listener through any hood, anywhere.
Could this be one of the most important mixtape of the year? You’ll have to listen to find that out.
